Common pre-sales questions.

How long does a typical pilot take?+

Two weeks from signed order. Pilot scope is usually 5–20 sensors and one gateway. Pilot includes calibration certs, baseline learning, and a written report.

Where is data stored?+

UK-region by default (AWS eu-west-2 or our Edinburgh DC, your choice). EU-region available. For GDPR-sensitive deployments, raw data can stay on-site with only summaries leaving the gateway.

Do you sell hardware separately from software?+

Yes. Hardware is also available with AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT, or your own MQTT broker. Software (AI Telemetry, Booking Engine) can run against existing sensor estates.

What’s the typical SLA?+

SLA terms are agreed per customer based on deployment criticality - typical agreements cover platform uptime targets, tiered response times (P1/P2/P3), and choice of UK working hours or 24/7 cover. We will scope and price the right tier for your project during the proposal stage.

Do you have a partner programme?+

Yes - system integrator, reseller, and OEM tracks. Get in touch for partnership terms.

How much does a typical deployment cost?+

Hardware costs scale with sensor count - small pilots start around £2-5k including gateway. Software is subscription-based, priced per asset or per site. We provide a written quote within one working day once we know your asset count and deployment scope.

How long from order to production deployment?+

Two weeks for a pilot, 6-12 weeks for full production rollout, depending on site count and integration complexity. Custom hardware adds 8-12 weeks for PCB design, prototyping and certification. We share a deployment plan with named milestones before any order is placed.

What happens after the system is deployed?+

Ongoing support is included with the software subscription - over-the-air firmware updates, dashboard monitoring, and a UK-based engineer on the support line. Hardware is covered by a 2-year warranty as standard; extended warranty is available.
